Removals

About — the firm

A clearance firm, not a skip with wheels.

We clear rubbish and waste across Hackney. That is the whole business — no removals, no storage, no man-and-van moves, and no attempt to be a general trade.

01

A quote is a price, not a guess

We price on volume and the carry, agree it before we start, and stick to it. It changes only if what is being cleared changes — and then we say so before it goes on the van, not afterwards.

02

Sorting is the whole job

Anyone can put waste in a vehicle. Separating timber, metal, cardboard and electricals while loading is what decides whether most of a load gets reused, recycled or simply buried — and it can only be done at the point of loading.

03

We carry, so you keep what is staying

Hand-loading is slower than a skip and better for you: we take the wardrobe from the top floor and leave the one in the hall, item by item. A container on the street cannot make that distinction, and neither can your neighbours at two in the morning.

04

Paperwork on request, always

Waste transfer documentation is kept for every job. Landlords, agents and contractors have a duty of care for their waste; the note is the evidence, and we hand it over without being chased for it.

Licensing

Who is allowed to take your waste

In England, anyone transporting waste as a business must be a registered waste carrier with the Environment Agency, and you — the person whose waste it is — keep a duty of care for where it ends up. If a cheap van takes your sofa and it turns up in an alleyway, the liability can follow you rather than them. Ask us for our registration details before you book, and ask any firm you are comparing us with for theirs.

The practical test is simple: a firm that sorts on the van, keeps transfer notes and hands them over without being asked twice is a firm that is not tipping your waste behind a hoarding. We would rather be judged on that than on a promise about recycling rates we could not evidence.

Tell us what needs clearing.

What it is, which floor it is on, and where a van can stand. That is enough for a proper quote — and the quote is what you pay, not a starting point.
